Home Care Questions & Answers

For many families, home care services provide a beneficial choice—a safe and affordable solution that supports the family, while allowing your loved ones to stay in the comfort of their own homes and communities.

Home care provides compassion and help for seniors who need assistance with daily activities. Levels of care vary by need and can span from weekly meal prep to incontinence help.

Home caregivers understand the nuances of senior care, so they can be attentive and proactive with determining the proper care needed for each senior.

Home Care Preference refers to the ability of any person to grow old in their own home or that of their family. It is the opposite of institutional, residential care like a nursing home. Sometimes it may mean the ability, with extra help, to stay in an assisted living facility as well.

Yes. People sometimes discover that the assistance provided in an assisted living facility is not sufficient to remain independent. Visiting Home Care Preference delivers a qualified caregiver to make this possible in these cases. In addition, in some states, you can hire private help in an assisted living facility or nursing home.

Generally services can be provided within a 48-hour period and often the same day.

Schedule changes are easily accomplished with as little as one week notice. Our philosophy is to make the schedule work for the family, not the agency. You come first. Your needs, your requests, your schedule. We will do everything possible to make sure the schedule you want is the schedule you get.
